Keep in mind that if you cannot adopt, you can still help them in their fight by sending a contribution to an organization that rescues them and fights for the termination of puppymills. Although, sadly, most Greyhound dogs that retire from racing are destroyed by the greedy "inhumans" that enslaved them, there are several organizations dedicated to rescuing them and placing them for adoption.
